Full Time Staff Pharmacist

  A pharmacy in Wainwright, Alberta is looking for a full-time staff pharmacist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, community-minded pharmacist interested in stable hours, a supportive team, and long-term career growth. New grads are welcome to apply.

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused pharmacist with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume environment. Experience with Kroll is an asset, and candidates with injection authorization or APA are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently dispense prescriptions
  • Provide medication therapy management and patient education
  • Monitor and manage medication therapies for various patient populations, including pediatric and acute care
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory protocols
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and customer-focused service
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
  • Active license and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
  • Injection authorization and/or APA preferred (but not required)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working in fast-paced settings
  • Experience with pediatric or hospital/acute care settings is a plus
  • Proficiency with Kroll system

 An independent pharmacy in Drayton Valley, Alberta—located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes southwest of Edmonton—is looking for a part-time pharmacist to join their team starting in May.

We are seeking a motivated, self-directed pharmacist with strong clinical experience who is comfortable using the Kroll system. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a stable schedule, a supportive environment, and potential long-term partnership opportunities, including bonuses.

  • Provide medication therapy management services to patients

 An independent pharmacy, located just 30 minutes from South Edmonton, is seeking a part-time pharmacist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, personable, and experienced in providing clinical care—particularly to a geriatric population. Proficiency with the Kroll system is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medication therapy management services, with a strong focus on geriatric care.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient prescription filling.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building trusting relationships with patients and providers.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Alberta College of Pharmacists' regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Clinical experience with a strong understanding of geriatrics and medication management.
  • Proficiency in Kroll.
  • Excellent communication skills—must be personable and able to connect with patients, particularly seniors.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Schedule & Support:

  • 2 shifts per week on rotation:
  • Friday & Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Monday & Tuesday: 9 AM – 6 PM / 9 AM – 7 PM
  • 20 hours per week in a well-supported environment.
  • Work alongside three full-time pharmacy assistants.
